There are several ways to build a secure application in AWS using managed services:
Use managed services such as Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon S3 for your data storage needs. These services are designed to be highly available, scalable, and secure.
Use AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) to control access to your resources. IAM allows you to create users, groups, and roles, and define permissions for those entities.
Use Amazon Cognito to authenticate users and provide temporary, limited-privilege AWS credentials to access your resources.
Use Amazon CloudWatch to monitor and alert on any suspicious activity or security breaches.
Use AWS WAF to protect against web vulnerabilities and attacks such as cross-site scripting (XSS) and SQL injection.
Use Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to isolate your resources and control inbound and outbound traffic.
Use AWS Shield to protect against distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.
Use AWS Secrets Manager to store and manage secrets such as database credentials and API keys.
