Graduates join ESS business unit for a two-year programme

The Altron Technology Professional Programme (TPP) launched in March last month. It is a two-year programme focused on the development of scarce skills in the technology sector. Altron Group welcomed over 20 technology professionals to join six operations in South Africa.

Altron BSI welcomed three of these graduates in the Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) business unit in Midrand.

Meet the young minds who are ready to concur the world:

Passionate about making a change in society Reginald Nkabinde (25), is a devoted and enthusiastic young man, an innovative thinker and always seeking new opportunities with a forte in solutions. Reginald has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology.

He studied IT because of the challenge and how there is always room for innovation to come up with solutions that can make a difference in society. When he is not working hard he enjoys reading books, playing video games or going to the gym.

Mogale Mphahlele (25), dedicated Computer Science and Informatics graduate from the University of Johannesburg, who enjoys being part of, as well as leading, a successful and productive team.

Mogale is quick to grasp new concepts and develop innovative and creative solutions to problems. He enjoys listening to music and has a keen interest in developing languages in Vb.net, Angular and Python.

With a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce majoring in Information Systems and Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand meet Masholan Naidoo (22), who decided to pursue a career in IT as it is a field that is constantly changing, which is exciting for him.

Mash, as most people call him in his leisure time enjoys going to the gym, reading and attending motor festivals. He is most looking forward to gaining insight and exposure in the cybersecurity and biometrics environment in this business unit.

They will be honed and mentored on the job by Charles Mosia, Presales Sol & Architecture Executive – who is excited by the fresh young minds who will help grow and challenge the unit for the next eighteen months.

TPP is delivered through the University of Pretoria’s GIBS institute. A blended training approach will be followed; including e-learning, self-study, classroom training, group work and on-the-job training.
