At Altron Systems Integration, we built our own IP software product, SAMRASm, which is a municipal ERP system. It has been in existence for 40 years and can be used from the smallest municipality through to the metro.
The product design facilitates that modules within the system can be used without requiring the full system. Our deep domain experience of more than 50 years in the municipal space has cemented our understanding of the client landscape.
The system is an integrated accounting system that enables the clients to require only one system to achieve both a digitized view as well as internal management of processes. Our differentiator is our single-system interface, effectually reducing costs to achieve efficiency.
We are the only vendor to qualify across all categories of municipalities in the National Treasury mSCOA RT tender 25.
Our product is country independent, meaning it can be used for municipalities worldwide.
All municipalities strive for clean audit results and our clients have unqualified audits. Our supply chain management (SCM) process provides the governance and interfacing to the central supplier database for compliance. The system efficiencies through workflow and document management enable the municipality to focus on service delivery, while the financial reporting is critical for proactive decision making and budget control.
Our payroll and HR knowledge helps ensure that municipal resources are paid accurately and timeously. Our budget and forecasting module aids compliance with the National Treasury reporting requirements and our interfaces to the local government database ensure that our municipalities receive their equitable share on time.
We ensure the Cyber Security with our anti-hacking. We underwrite the legislative framework and requirements for FICA, TCF, FSB, POPI, SARS, accessibility, etc. Our asset and stores module manages the assets of the municipality according to best practices. We have a strong and experienced team to assist with system implementation and training, as well as support into the future. SAMRASm has a fully-manned Service Centre, and telephonic and on-site support is provided for.
The performance management module for individuals, departments and projects is the KPI/KPA definition and measurement. This is aligned to the SDBIP (service delivery and budget implementation plan) which aligns with the National Development Plan.
We are moving municipalities into the digital age with the next level of self-service automation for the coming of the millennials and technology-savvy workers. We believe in the power of digital transformation to achieve cost efficiencies for the public monies to be spent on service delivery and community upliftment.
SAMRAS brings efficiencies to the business processes and alignment to the compliance required by National Treasury ensuring all our clients are mSCOA compliant. Our whole offering from infrastructure, to migration, to configuration, to going live, to support during BAU – business as usual, to annual upgrades to keep ahead of the curve.
